Since 1986 The Tampa Connection has prepared more than 2000 young executives to become active volunteers and leaders in the Tampa Bay community while building professional relationships. The program encourages leadership development, community awareness and is an excellent opportunity for personal growth.

Each year, The Tampa Connection Board of Directors selects a limited number of agency projects to be carried out by The Tampa Connection members during the program year (September – May). Project teams, consisting of approximately 15 members, are asked to take full responsibility for the planning and implementation of the projects selected. Projects larger than this scope will also be considered. The most successful projects have been:

  • Tangible
  • Well defined by the agency
  • Goal oriented
  • Achievable within 6 months

Fund Raising for the agency is not an acceptable project for The Tampa Connection members. The agency is responsible for funding seed money or supplies for the project. Examples of past projects that may help you can be found here: Examples of Projects

If your organization has project ideas for consideration please complete the attached application and return it by June 9, 2017.

Applications will be reviewed and discussed by The Tampa Connection Board on June 15, 2017. Finalists will be asked to make a brief presentation to the board members on June 16, 2017. You will be notified if your organization is a finalist.
